Here's what I saw at 5:30 p.m. My ISO was 100, shutter speed was 8000, and F-stop was 64. It still wasn't dark enough!
FOrtunately, an elderly couple came along and gave me one of their pieces of welder's glass. This was at 6 p.m.
The remaining photos were taken with my 70-300mm lens with 1.4x teleconverter after 7 p.m.
