This was interesting. I used my 70-300mm lens on a 3 second shutter, but it was extremely windy outside. As a result, the headlights are squiggly lines. This was taken at the 36th Street bridge over Interstate 80, looking west.

This is the most OVERUSED photo of downtown Omaha, so of course, I had to take it and my my personal style on it. Unlike most pics, I like a darker feel, with less emphasis on the lighting and more use of the natural shadows and nighttime sky. And by dialing back the lights, I got Jupiter to pop as it's sitting over the First National Tower.

Shot at 15 seconds, this was the clouds that rolled in as I was attempting to capture something during the Leonid meteor shower north of Omaha, Nebraska.

Before the clouds rolled in, I did capture this lone image of a meteor, or "shooting star" around 1:30 a.m. on April 22, 2012 while photographing the Leonid meteor shower. This was taken at the former Surfside Club (near the Missouri River) north of Omaha, Nebraska.

This is my attempt to capture the supermoon around 10:45 p.m. on May 5, 2012. Unfortunately, I found out the biggest moon I could've photographed would have been around 7:30 to 8 p.m. Oh well.
