This statue sits in front of Mutual of Omaha's headquarters building on 33rd and Dodge Streets in Omaha, Nebraska. Mutual is a sponsor of the Olympic swimming trials. Despite its likeness, Mutual of Omaha officials state the likeness of the statue is not Michael Phelps, who the company stopped sponsoring following his publicized marijuana smoking from several years ago.
The following are pictures from the partial (it was annular on the west coast) eclipse over Omaha, Nebraska. These were taken across the Missouri River in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
This is a rose from a large bush on the side of my house, taken with my 50mm 1.4 with a 25mm macro tube (no AF) and my LED lens-mounted light. As you can see that even with an external light in sunlight, the DOF is still very tricky and thus, so is the trick of finding a focus point.
