The following are pictures from the partial (it was annular on the west coast) eclipse over Omaha, Nebraska. These were taken across the Missouri River in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
This bridge connects Iowa and Nebraska and spans the Missouri Bridge. Unfortunately, it's impossible to get down and photograph the river itself, since most places are still closed off for cleaning up the flooding from last year's flood.
Yes, I was stupid and ran into the middle of the highway on the Iowa side to capture a picture of the Mission Road/Highway 370 bridge that connects Iowa and Nebraska and spans the Missouri River. I failed to see the semi truck 500 feet behind me when I took this.
